2023 has been an incredible year for us at ZMMI. We have expanded our reach with the opening of two new retail stores, one in Fumba and our flagship store in Paje. We won the award for most outstanding compliance in integration with Virtual Fiscal Management system (VFMS) for 2022 /2023 at the ZRA Best Taxpayers Recognition awards.
And hosted some incredible events throughout the year! From unique wine tastings to Bar Academy courses. Our goal is to create memorable experiences for you. We believe that great drinks are meant to be enjoyed, and our events provide the perfect opportunity to discover new tastes and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

In 2023, we celebrated the 5th anniversary of Kimbia Billa shaka in Zanzibar, and we are honored to have been a supporter and sponsor since its inception.
It brings us immense pride to support this event annually and witness its remarkable growth. Since 2019, this movement and race have played a vital role in empowering local communities, particularly young girls and women, by promoting equity through continuous support and engagement.
This movement respectfully challenges traditional gender roles, promotes education, interfaith exchange, and most importantly, strives to improve the physical and mental health services available to young girls and women in Zanzibar.
Our team united and successfully completed the marathon, providing mutual support and determination to reach the finish line. Notably, two of our colleagues, Simon Muchiri in the 21km and Thomas Shauri in the 10km, achieved top 10 placements.
We eagerly anticipate the upcoming year of 2024 and our unwavering commitment to this incredible initiative.
